 Wrong color May 3, 2008
If you want the blue filter, you wont get it. I tried twice and got the wrong one. Apparantly the color was changed and Amazon doesnt know this. Its for a motorcycle and blue was important.

I saved a bundle buying this filter for
my honda 1800 vtx and 1100T ACE.
cost about 1/3 the price of honda filters.

These are good filters, but I can get them at my local auto parts supplier for $5.88 each. Amazon's $15 price for two is out of line.

I was all set to buy a few sets of these filters (PL14610) for my Honda motorcycle when Amazon raised the price to more than 35% higher than I can get them at local auto parts suppliers. When I emailed Customer Service about the steep price increase, I got a couple lame answers that still didn't give a good reason for the steep price increase.
I would suggest that if you want any of the PL14612's (I believe it is the same filter but just a tad shorter), you better get them now before they go up too. Or, check out your local parts guys. Ours seem a bit more stable on their prices than Amazon is, and a lot less expensive on these PL14610's.
I am very dissapointed in Amazon.

This is one of the best filters money can buy. Do a search for oil filter tests, and you will see that this statement is the truth. Most filter media available on the market, one of the best designed, best value filter I've ever found. I run these on my street car, race car, tow vehicle, and motorcycles. Amazon goes above and beyond and prices the two pack for almost the same price as a single filter costs in the parts stores, so you get an awesome filter at an unbeatable price!
