4 out of 5 stars Compact-great for motorcylists   June 9, 2008

This is a very compact and powerful inflator. My only complaint would be that the cords could be a little longer. Otherwise, you can't beat the size and power. I ended up giving it to my father when he saw it and need to order another.

5 out of 5 stars Very compact and handy   April 20, 2008

This air compressor will come in handy many times. It will be carried in my ATV when I am in the woods and nowhere near a garage where I may need a air pump for my tires, or someone else's. Nice item

4 out of 5 stars Slime tire inflator   January 7, 2008

I was excited to say the least when I tried my new Slime power sport tire inflator, I had a low tire on my car and I didn't want to drag out my large compressor so I thought what a perfect time to try out my new slime purchase. It worked great and in no time had my tire back to the recommended pressure. I love the compact size as it will fit perfectly on my Honda Goldwing!this is exactly why I bought it.
The only draw back I could see was with the mechanism that hooks up to the valve stem, which seems to be the only one out there. Would be nice if some one would come up with a better hook up that would not allow air to escape when you try to disconnect! Other wise its a great unit!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great peace of mind   December 22, 2007

This product works great, takes up little space, adds little weight and provides great peace of mind knowing that I'm not going to be stranded with a flat tire as long as I can plug the hole. I was going to buy the CO2 system until I discovered this small pump but I didn't like what I was reading about using the CO2 in that in most cases it takes more then one or two catrages to fill the tire and once their gone their gone. With this pump I will always have an air supply.

1 out of 5 stars I can't purchase this without more information.   November 20, 2007

After reading various reviews in an attempt to find out what 12 Volt tire compressors were out there, I came to the conclusion that there's some misinformation and intentionally omitted information on the web. *Maximum PSI should not be a primary decision factor in most consumers' choices.* Most healthy, adult males can exert 160 PSI with just their own lungs! My tires only need around 35 PSI. What I think we're really concerned about is *flow rate* - how fast can a volume of air be pumped in my tire? After that, I think my next concerns are the durability, power consumption and length of cord. Just be leery of a higher numbered `PSI' in the advertising of compressors. Unless I'm looking to fill heavy-duty air tanks (most 11 gallon consumer models are rated around 150 PSI), PSI shouldn't factor in my decision. Look for SCFM or LPM as a guide in sizing up flow rates in different models. If I don't see that information, I'm definitely not purchasing it.
