I recently ordered one of these but was a little concerned about some of the earlier reviews stating that you needed to add an O-ring or gasket to get the gauge to seal properly on the tire stem. The one I received has a rubber gasket and seals easily on the stem. They also took off the transparent sticker on the display that was confusing some purchaser.
The unit works very nicely and is a very good value at the price.
Excellent Product - Why 'Cheap' Platic 'Connector'? June 8, 2007
Excellent product that has many good features. Nice and easy to hold, easy to program and easy to use. Only problem is with the 'connector' that connects to the tire stem. It's made of plastic and sometimes it's hard to get a good seal and therefore a good read. Besides that excellent and recommended product.

The "Accutire MS-4350B Digital Tire Gauge" has great features. It's bright, easy to read, has a neat programmable feature, and beeps when readings are final.
But there is an obvious flaw in the product. There is no seal from the tire gauge to the valve. This problem can be easily solved. Like "ReviewerWhoPrefersToBeAnonymous" mentioned in the previous review, you can simply place a rubber band into the opening around the gauge (Check out the customer image provided). It took me about a minute to do this. You don't even need a thick rubber band, you can simply use two thinner rubber bands and coil one around another (No glue needed). After doing this it started working like a charm. Readings are perfect and accurate, no leaks, no hiss, nothing, works in every first try.
If you can do the little modification, it is a perfect digital tire gauge. Personally, I like doing little modifications to things so they work perfect but if you can't or don't want to do it then stay away from this product. After shopping for tire gauges for so long, I would say this is the best digital tire gauge you will find in a manageable price range. I give it 4 stars because Accutire could have easily fixed this by just rubber sealing the gauge tip.
Fix the leaking problem May 29, 2007

I bought an O-ring at Ace Hardware [stk no.35774B] and this ring fits perfectly into the inside of the sensor. Around the hole which makes contact with the metal tire stem. Walla ! the leak problem has stopped and one gets a very tight fit onto the stem curing the problem.
The exact size of the this rubber O-ring 1/4 x 1/8 x 1/16. [#60 O-ring]
at Ace Hardware. So one does not even need to cut or glue this thing to make it work. Give it a try! Cure the problem for sure. The part cost me
.74 cents.

If you're looking for a nice tire gauge, then this one is definitely a winner. Believe me when I say I do research b4 I buy anything, and the research on this product paid off. If you're in the market, then stop here because you need not look any further.
