Free Yourself From Judgement July 1, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Shadow work is important work. This book is written in simple language, and is a great introduction to the subject. What do you have to lose - it's insightful, can be read in an afternoon, and it just might deepen your understanding of yourself and others. I recommend this book highly, especially to people who care about personal development.

Bet you don't think you have a dark side. This book makes known the unknown. Tons of great information. Easy to read and comprehend. Learn something about yourself. Highly recommended.
Fantastic and useful book -- must have for all folks August 5, 2005 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
This book is very useful, if you open your mind enough to take it to hear. A friend recommended it to me, and I'm recommending it to my brother, exboyfriends, best girlfriends, and probably a few others I care about. It is life changing.
Develop true self esteem by loving every part of ourselves. July 29, 2005 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
By using the principles in this book, I am more authentic, happy and have more confidence and self love. This book truly changed my life. When we accept everything about ourselves and stop trying to hide the parts we find negative, we open the door to a more loving, peaceful and joyful life.
Easy-to-read Treatment of a Universal Struggle May 10, 2005 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
Debbie Ford has a powerhouse of a book here, addressing a dilemma with which all of us struggle. Her theme is reconciling ourselves to the darker side of our human nature, the things we suppress, the things we deny, the things we resist that all are vital parts of who we are. While her theology and her therapeutic approach may not be as refined as some people would desire, the point of her work strikes home in the hearts of her readers. The goal she presents is not permissiveness, but wholeness and healing. This title is not written from a theological or a psychological viewpoint. It is written from a personal viewpoint by woman who has a powerful story to share. In her sharing, she inspires struggling readers with refreshing insights and renewed hope.
