I've read about 3 versions of the same book and this is the finest. It has the leather like binder that makes it look like a literay classic. All it needed was a imprint in bold red letter don't panic on the back.

Simply outstanding. A beautiful bound book suitable for this brilliant series. Even my wife kept saying that it looked like a Bible. That just makes it funnier if you're a fan of Douglas Adams.
Hightly recommended and the price makes it a steal.

totally awsome January 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has got to be the best book I have ever read. I cant say enough good things and I have absolutly nothing bad to say about it. I think everyone should read it.
Wonderful January 22, 2008 Douglas Adams creates outer-space as it has never been seen before. His writing takes you into the world he has created where you can vividly visualize the creatures and planets he lusheshly describes. It is a great break for some other reads in the fact that it is light and funny. While I continually praise Adams and his work, I will go out and say that it isn't a read that everyone will enjoy. And by not everyone I mean a very select few. Adams is British and those who do not enjoy British humor may find the book goofy and not funny. But those who do or even just like straight up comedy will not regret buying this book. Great book to keep on your shelf and read from time to time to keep you laughing and keep your mind working in the depths of outer-space with a babelfish in its ear.
