5 out of 5 stars I love this book!   November 20, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

OK, full disclosure: I am a Debbie Ford Fan! I started reading her books in 2001 with The Dark Side of the Light Chaser. That book changed my life because for the first time I understood the underlying fears I was committed to that stopped me from fully living my life. I then completed her Integrated Coaching Program that allowed me to live my passion of supporting others in creating and living the life of their dreams.

I started devouring her other books, The Secret of the Shadow, The Right Question and others. With each book, I gained more insight and self awareness.

This book; Why Good People do Bad Things is a question I have pondered my entire life! provides so much enlightenment on this question that I highly, highly recommend reading it and taking it personally so you can apply these insights to the choices you make and the journey you to through your life as I have.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Read   November 20, 2008
We all do things that we know are not in our best interest. This book helps us to understand why we say we want one thing and yet act in a way that moves us further away from our goals. By learning about the "masks" we wear to protect ourselves, we can change our previous patterns of behavior and start on the path to a life that is richer, more rewarding and more authentic.

5 out of 5 stars PROFOUND   November 19, 2008
This book is profound and I highly recommend it as a must read for anyone that is interested in making positive changes in their own life as well as being able to understand others.
This book systematically goes through the many masks we wear as well as aspects of ourselves that need tending to in order to grow.

5 out of 5 stars Why Good People Do Bad Things   November 18, 2008
I spent most of my life trying to change people- my family, the people at work, even my dog....especially the dog..Why Good People Do Bad Things offers great insight about why people act as they do. With that understanding, I see the world differently ....I see my responsibility for my decisions and how to love others with open hands and heart. Read the book and then catch a plane to San Diego and engage in one of Debbie Ford's Shadow Process week-ends (see debbieford.com)..... Rosemary Redmond

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic book!   November 18, 2008
A great read. Debbie Ford gives insight into why we sabotage ourselves, and perhaps why we don't accomplish what we want in life.
She has lots of other great books and CDs on [..........]
