Mityvac 7201 - Wonderful product September 2, 2008 This is a great product. It worked perfectly with no problems whatsoever. I didn't even need to warm the engine. It extracted all of the oil via the dipstick - no muss - no fuss. I love it and highly recommend it for anyone wanting an easy method to perform their own oil changes.
DIYer August 25, 2008 This product is simple to use, took me only 20 min from start to finish for the entire oil change.
Horrible customer service, horrible quality control August 21, 2008 If it works, it works pretty good. Chances are you will get one with a missing O ring though. Several people on car forums I am a member of receive defective items including myself. I called customer service after multiple emails went unanswered. I told them I think it was missing an o ring because it would not hold a vaccum. They said "yep it might be" and that was it, no "we will get one right out to you" or ship it back for an exchange. They were very rude. I just sealed it with some gasket maker and it works now but looks terrible. I would go with a different unit with beter quality control.
Great tool for extracting and filling diesel fuel filters August 19, 2008 Great for extracting and filling diesel fuel filters on large (Army) trucks. When filling filters you might want to pump fuel into a separate container before adding to the filter. If you want to stop fuel flow push switch from pressure to vacuum. This tool solves a major problem of having to fill filters from five gallon cans.
Just don't even think about buying this ! Its junk ! August 3, 2008 This little mousy vac doesn't work Period. I'm mechanically inclined and work on cars all of the time. Followed instructions, what little there are, and had read through many reviews before buying it.
Its going right back in the box. Pumped at least 200 times, got maybe a quart.
Run, dont walk away from this product.
