Perfect part, easy install, quality part. This unit IS NEEDED on Jeeps so that the lights on any trailer you pull will work properly.
Great product for a great price May 20, 2008
Everything came as stated and was a very easy install. The unit recommends wiring the relay directly to the battery, but this is not necessary. The Liberty has enough "hot" wires in the back to use. There is a DC jack right where it needs to be mounted, so it is easy to anchor the wire that would normally go to the battery from this wire. There is also a fuse within the relay as well as for the jack, so everything will work fine without issues.

Works well, very easy to connect and setup (instructions on how to remove the side panel are somewhat sketchy). The only drawback is that the wiring to the hitch is barely long enough to make it there, so be careful not to damage it and also look where you route it through.
Excellent, But... September 2, 2007
The product itself is excellent, however it had outdated instructions as to how to take apert the rear inner quarter panel for my 2004 model. needless to say I figured it out thanke to Wikipediea answers.
Good quality works as advertised.

This was the second wiring kit that I've installed in my Liberty (the first was made by another manufacturer). The Hoppy was much easier to install and seems to be of a better design.
