Have Gun Will Travel..the 1st 3 Seasons January 6, 2009 This is an awesome collection if you are into the t.v. westerns of the 60s!!!
Check it out!!!!
HGWT Seasons 1-3 January 6, 2009 Video quality is excellent. Story lines hold up well. Richard Boone is magnificient. Only one problem: after you finish seasons 1-3, you'll want seasons 4-6 and they are not available. That's a really bad decision on someone's part.
Have Gun Will Travel January 6, 2009 Anyone who is interested in westerns will definitely enjoy this series! Well written, excellent acting and not all shoot em ups like some of the westerns were on TV! Intelligent with a moral you can apply to every day life!
Joe from Wantagh November 30, 2008 I would highly recommend this dvd collection. HGWT was ahead of its time then and still holds up today. Richard Boone played a very believeable character. He was a man's man.

I've not watched all episodes, but have thoroughly enjoyed what I have. I'm impressed with Paladin's "talk first, shoot later" approach to resolving most disputes, his unapologetic self interest ("here's what this will cost you"), his creative approach to solving problems, his loyalty to Hey Boy and his good taste in real estate (who wouldn't want to live in a nice hotel in San Francisco?) I especially like the 30-minute format into which each episode is packaged--no fluff, no filler, just the meat.
