Not exactly for a novice April 16, 2008
This suffers from what affects many guides written by experts - it's an excellent resource if you're also an expert. Which, admittedly, I am not. This manual can be a bit intimidating if you are just getting into cars. There is a lot of information, but it is very compacted. If you already know what you're doing, this would probably provide a very nice review of the important points. But if you don't, explanations are a bit unsettlingly brief. I had to supplement myself with lots of googling to be comfortable with the procedures.
Also, I am firm in my conviction that any book meant to be used in a shop should be published on reinforced pages in a spiral-bound form. This book is not.
