Dimmer feature not as good as original October 4, 2008
The product was 100% effective. The only imperfection is the dimmer feature. The dimmer doesn't adjust as good as the old one. I have to pretty much turn it all the way up to be able to see the lights. The original one had true analog adjustability. I would have assumed this one was the same way. The dial doesn't seem like a multi-position switch, but the light intensity seems like it is. The lower 75% of the dial seems to have two intensities. Both are too dim. The last 25% seems to have one, wide-open.
